At Little Woodlands Children’s Day Nursery, we are committed to ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

We have a dedicated Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) who leads and oversees our SEND provision. Our SENCo works closely with practitioners, families and external professionals to identify and support children with additional needs at the earliest opportunity.

We believe in early intervention and a graduated approach, carefully planning and adapting activities, environments and teaching strategies to meet each child’s individual needs. Regular observations, assessments and open communication with parents ensure that support is consistent, meaningful and tailored to the child.

Inclusion is at the heart of our practice. We celebrate every child’s strengths and achievements, creating a nurturing environment where all children feel valued, capable and confident.

Our aim is simple – to remove barriers to learning and ensure that every child at Little Woodlands is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
