The Hub
At Little Woodlands, we believe that a strong, supported team creates the very best environment for children. That’s why we have thoughtfully designed a dedicated Hub — a space centred around collaboration, wellbeing and belonging.
The Hub includes a welcoming staff room (The Nook) complete with kitchen facilities, alongside an open, flexible space featuring acoustic seating, desks, tables and comfortable sofas. It has been designed to encourage teamwork, shared reflection and professional conversations in a calm and inspiring environment. Within The Hub, we also have a designated wellbeing room (The Nest), offering a quiet space for staff to reset, reflect and recharge when needed. In addition, a private meeting room (The Hive) provides a professional setting for staff development sessions, parent meetings and confidential discussions.
Importantly, our Hub is not just for staff – it is also a welcoming space for our families. We will be hosting parent coffee mornings, meetings and community-focused sessions such as breastfeeding support groups and baby weigh-ins. These events offer wonderful opportunities for families to connect, build relationships and feel part of the Little Woodlands community from the very beginning, even before their child officially starts with us.
