At Little Woodlands, we offer government-funded childcare places for eligible children aged 9 months and over, in line with current government guidelines. If you are unsure when your child will become eligible, our management team will be happy to help you calculate your start date and guide you through the process.

Government-funded childcare is subject to working parent eligibility criteria. Parents must meet the government’s minimum earnings requirements and be in work (or due to start work shortly) at the time of application. If a parent is still on maternity leave and not yet earning, funding may not be approved until they have returned to work or have a confirmed start date.
